Prineville MLS meeting today has the Tax Assessor as a guest speaker. Did you know?.....
Should you close on a property and afterwards the Tax Assessor's office catches some missed improvements that were not of record but then discovered, that the new Owner is the one that will be responsible for the tax rate increase. So.....if you're buying; DO your homework and check the improvements on record. Should you see an improvement that's not documented; look into it.
